Imaging is one element of the decision. Return to sport is not determined by a single study, but by the clinical assessment led by the responsible team, considering function, pain, tolerated load and the context of the season.
Experience
Radiologist of the medical department of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (2011–2016 and 2022–2024); radiology consultant to the Iranian national team during the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, providing musculoskeletal imaging support to the medical staff; documented experience with athletes of São Paulo FC, Palmeiras, AD São Caetano and Portuguesa, across different services and periods.
