Nature of the content

Second opinion and clinical assessment

A radiology second opinion is a review of imaging studies already performed and does not replace an in-person clinical assessment where one is indicated.

Diagnostic and treatment decisions remain with the treating physician, who knows the full clinical picture.

No doctor–patient relationship

Browsing the site, reading its content or sending a message through the contact form does not create a doctor–patient relationship.

Such a relationship arises only through an express agreement covering a specific service.

Distinct services

General contact: an administrative channel for enquiries and professional correspondence.

Second opinion and specialist review: an individual service for patients and healthcare professionals, with scope and conditions defined case by case.

Corporate teleradiology: an institutional service provided through MedConnect Teleradiology to hospitals, clinics and imaging centres, distinct from the individual second opinion service.

Intellectual property

Texts, images, documents, marks and other elements of this site are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, adapted or exploited commercially without prior written permission.

Quotation is permitted with a clear reference to the source and the original address.
